Next up in the princess inspired series is the lovely Snow White photo shoot.  Underestimated, envied, and treated badly, she never lost her kind spirit and in the end triumphed because of the love of others. 

Just about a 4 hour drive from Los Angeles you can get to Sequoia and King’s Canyon National Parks and a visit there is a relaxing getaway.

It’s been a season of firsts for our family and all of them have been sad.  Now it’s time for your first Heaven birthday and just thinking about it makes me sad.

We met at my studio in the Hawthorne Arts Center.  We had fun inside the studio and explored the outside giving us great variety of looks.  We had a lot of fun, laughing and enjoying the day.

I’ve been blessed and have had my parents giving me love and support for my entire life.  This is year for this Father’s Day; my dad is looking down from heaven.  It’s been 4 ½ months and while things do start to get better with time, life is never the same. 

He makes you laugh, knows how to make you feel special and is always there for you.  He’s always up for a good time, but when you ask him to take photos he’ll often run for the hills. 

It was a cold rainy day, not unusual for Seattle also known as the Emerald City.  No matter, rain, wind and a little snow was not match for true love. 

I’m sure you’ve been, there I certainly have and you grew up watching her, loving her, wanting to be her.  She’s a princess, beautiful, kind, smart, resourceful.  She goes through tough and scary times but in the end things work out for her.  Sometimes with the help of a prince, but almost always with the help of a lot of friends along the way she manages to overcome every obstacle.

It can be amazingly happy, amazingly sad, or a bittersweet combination of both for many.  It’s the holiday with the most flower sales and it brings many families together.  It’s Mother’s Day.  It’s the day we celebrate our mothers, biological and not and show love to those who took on the job of mothering us.  It’s the day we try to relax and accept appreciation from those who love us.

Time to take a look at this adorable family session.  It’s always a wonderful experience tohave the privilege to take photos for someone special to you.  Creating memories for someone you’ve known more than half their life and her beautiful children is a privilege.

For me taking photos can be a stressful almost traumatic experience.  I very rarely like myself in photos and yes I’m very hard on my self but that doesn’t change the fact that I am very picky when it comes to photos of me. 

To help I have tried to pick up on as many tips and tricks as possible to make sure that I look as good as possible in front of the camera.

I get it.  Finding a photographer can be an overwhelming process.  I’ve been there and I agree it can be hard.  First of all there are so many choices.   How do you find the right one?   Choices are both a positive and a negative.  It means that you may have to do a bit of research to get to the right match but it also means that no matter what you’re looking for you’ll be able to find it.

Would you prefer an aisle or a window seat?  As a frequent flier I hear this question a lot and for me the answer is window.  One it’s actually more comfortable for me if I do fall asleep but two, I love the view.
