Building a Story Brand encourages you to change the way you think about the relationship between you and your clients or customers: Customarily your business is the hero proving your services and goods to those that need them. Building a Story Brand presents switching things around and making the customer the hero of the story, which seems simple but not often found.
As you read along the ideas will start flowing and your mind will start racing. I’ve gone back and read it several times adding to a long list of notes each time. The book also gives you access to a formal framework to work through the ideas and stricture your many thoughts and ideas.
Branding is critical to your Business no matter what it is and often it’s difficult to define but Building a Story Brand really helps walk you through the process. With many movies references to help make his points the concepts are easy to follow.
Now I’m working o. Implementing the many ideas I’ve come up with. I’m sifting though my notes and ideas and putting together plan. One thing I’ve learned is that I don’t have to have all of the answers and where I start at now may be very different from where I end up but that’s okay. I’ve got a roadmap and I’m following it along even if au venture off in new directions I’m open to it.
