I decided to find one word to be my theme for 2018. I’m a goal setter, it helps me keep moving forward but at times I can definitely end up with too many irons in the fire. So for this new year, I’ve decided to simply things a little. I’ve come up with one word to drive me for 2018. That word is Action. In my photography business; that means that I’ve got to implement some of the many ideas that I have worked so hard to develop. It can be scary since so much can go wrong but I have to move forward. Telling stories and creating memories is the driving force of what I’m doing and putting my plans into place to grow my portrait and wedding photography business is something that I have to do.
Yes my goal list is long in both my professional and my personal life but there is just so much that I want to accomplish. I’m ready to take things to the next level behind the camera, behind the desk and just in my everyday life in general. It’s time for me to continue to grow, take the risks I have to take and land where I land. I’ve been collecting and sharing inspiration that I truly believe in and now it’s time to really take some of those things to heart.
I’ve got big goals for my portrait photography and I can’t wait for you to see some of the things that I have in mind. There are so many stories that I want to tell through the experience of portrait photography, so much beauty to be shared and I know that the world can never get enough beauty.
Weddings are one of my first loves and will always hold a special place in my heart. I must admit I’m a romantic deep in my heart and I do love a good love story. Documenting the story of that special day is amazing. Love and family, two things I love coming together at the beginning of a special chapter can’t be beat.
Now is the time for action. Less thinking and more doing is my plan. I do have a lot of things to work on. I hope you’ll stay with me and keep watching how it goes. I can’t wait to share the journey with you. Portraits, weddings, photographs in general, personal plans as well, it’s going to be a good one.
What plans do you have for the New Year?
